Happy Friday! 🍎🍏 We hope you’re having a great week! 🎃🍁🍂
The bulletin for this Sunday, October 25, Reformation Sunday, is here on our website. Paper copies are outside the office. The ebulletin works very well on your phone if you prefer a full bulletin with all the hymns. The worship will be livestreamed here on YouTube.
What says ‘Reformation Day’ better than Chili and Corn-Bread? 🥣 Not many things, that’s what! Please join us this Sunday, October 25, for our Reformation Day celebration and a Chili-Cookoff afterward. We will all enjoy the chilis together and listen to a presentation from Sarah Dempsey about what it is like to be a delegate at the LCMS Synodical Convention.
THANK YOU to ALL who helped with and attended the Spaghetti Dinner! We served 66 and had donations of $1,680! Your generous free will gifts will be used for missions and congregational service projects. Announcement of designations of this funds will be made in early 2027. Together, Faith members and friends have responded to the LWML motto: “Serve the Lord with gladness,” Psalm 100:2. Thrivent Action Dollars supported this project.
Thank You to the Richmonds for the donation of a new roaster pan for use in Faith’s kitchen. The fifty-plus year old roaster will be retired!
Have a great weekend! 🍎🍏🎃🍁🍂 God is good, All the time; All the time, God is gooooooood! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
