Happy Friday! 🍎🍏 We hope you’re having a great week! 🎃🍂🍁
The bulletin for this Sunday, October 11, The Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost, is here on our website. Paper copies are outside the office. The ebulletin works very well on your phone if you prefer a full bulletin with all the hymns. The worship will be livestreamed here on YouTube.
The Voters’ Meeting will be this Sunday, October 11, at 12:00 pm after the Adult Bible Study. Please plan to attend this important meeting. Voters Packets were sent out today; please review them before the meeting, and bring a copy if you're able. There will be limited copies available at the meeting.
Once again, we're receiving emails that appear to come from Pastor Simmons. The text says
Hello, how are you?
May God’s grace be upon you today. If you’re able, I’d like to speak with you briefly by email. There’s a matter I’m handling prayerfully and with discretion, and your help would mean a great deal, Many blessings.
Warm regards,
Rev. Tyler Simmons

We are very sorry to inform you that Jin, the wife of Pr. Jefferey Scheer, one of our fill-in pastors, passed away yesterday. Please keep Pr. Scheer and his family in your prayers. We will have more information about services when it's available.
This week's Sunday School lesson is on Noah and his mission to preserve life on earth. 🛥️🐻🦓🦙🐄🐉 Noah, his family and the animals were kept safe as they watched and waited for over a year, while the waters of judgement swirled around the ark. 🌧️🌈 Sunday School meets after worship.
The Women’s Circle Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be next Sunday, October 18, from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm. A complete salad bar, garlic bread, desserts and beverages will complement our yummy spaghetti sauce! 🍝🥖🥗 Profits from freewill donations will fund Women’s Circle congregational and mission projects. Gluten-free pasta will be available. Thrivent Action Dollars will support this project. Invite a friend!
Are you interested in supporting our confirmation program but not sure how to go about it? Currently, we are meeting at 12:00-1:00 pm on Sundays, after Sunday School hour. We are looking for individuals who are willing to provide lunch for our two confirmands and two instructors each week. The meal can be as simple as some lunch meat and sandwich bread, or as intricate as you would like to make it. 🥪🌮🍱 Our goal with this program is to help our confirmands get to know everyone in the congregation on a closer level. On any week you sponsor the meal, we will have a few fun ice-breaker style questions to discuss with the confirmands at the beginning of class so they can know you, and you can know them better. There is a sign-up sheet on the kiosk in the narthex for anyone who is interested in taking part in this program!
Alice French’s memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 17, at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home Chapel in North Seattle. All are invited to attend. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church office.
Have a great weekend! 🍎🍏🎃🍂🍁 God is good, All the time; All the time, God is gooooood! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
