This Sunday’s Congregational Meeting has been CANCELED. If anyone is interested in helping to plan our Installation Reception, please meet in the choir area immediately after the service for a short fifteen-minute meeting.
Our Installation Service for our new pastor has been set! He will be installed on Saturday June 13, 2026. The service will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. Join us as we welcome the Simmons Family to our Family of Faith.
Wait! This week in Sunday School, we’re going to look at some of the many references to waiting in the Bible. We’ll also start to work on a special project to welcome the new pastor and his family. Sunday School meets after worship.
This week May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week! 🏫 Mrs. Jackie Squires, our Preschool and Pre-K teacher, has been with our school from the beginning in 2009. Ms. Julie Seward is our Preschool and Pre-K teacher assistant and has been with our school for ten years! These ladies love our students and families and they represent our preschool, our church, and our community well. These ladies share the gospel daily with our students, and in turn, our students share what they learn with their friends and family. They are very thankful to be a part of our church family, so please share a little love with them! You may drop off your cards at the church or mail them to Faith Lutheran Preschool, 171 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee, WA 98802.
It’s time once again to update the Emergency Contacts List, sponsored by our Naomi widows’ group. This is a low-tech paper list that shows us how to contact your family or friend in case you should have an emergency at church. It supplements the computerized lists that Hollie and the elders have. We want to make sure we have the most current contact information for you. This list will be private and yet accessible in strategic locations in the church. Take an information sheet at the round library table if you need to sign up or make an update.
Eleanor Gausman passed away on April 13 and is now with the Lord. Her funeral service will be Saturday, May 30 at 2:00 pm, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wenatchee.
