Pastoral Candidate Tyler Simmons has provided us with his Letter of Intent to accept his call to Faith. He has also provide us with his Family Biography.
We will be having a Congregational Meeting this Sunday at 12:00 noon, immediately following the Adult Bible Class. The purpose of this meeting is to begin the planning process of receiving our new pastor and his family. Updates will be provided and preliminary assignments will be made. Come join us as we begin this new chapter in Faith’s history.
Our Installation Service for our new pastor has been set! He will be installed on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The service will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. Join us as we welcome the Simmons Family to our Family of Faith.
This week May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week! 🏫 Mrs. Jackie Squires, our Preschool and Pre-K teacher, has been with our school from the beginning in 2009. Ms. Julie Seward is our Preschool and Pre-K teacher assistant and has been with our school for ten years! These ladies love our students and families and they represent our preschool, our church, and our community well. These ladies share the gospel daily with our students, and in turn, our students share what they learn with their friends and family. They are very thankful to be a part of our church family, so please share a little love with them! You may drop off you cards at the church or mail them to Faith Lutheran Preschool, 171 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee, WA 98802.
This week in Sunday School, we watched a video that reviews the events of Acts, and we added to our prayer books. 🙏 Sunday School meets after worship.
It’s time once again to update the Emergency Contacts List, sponsored by our Naomi widows’ group. This is a low-tech paper list that shows us how to contact your family or friend in case you should have an emergency at church. It supplements the computerized lists that Hollie and the elders have. We want to make sure we have the most current contact information for you. This list will be private and yet accessible in strategic locations in the church. Take an information sheet at the round library table if you need to sign up or make an update.
The National Day of Prayer 🙏 is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was established in 1952, and the modern observance of the National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday of May began in 1988. We host a special time of prayer every Thursday morning for all who want to take part; please join us here at Faith or wherever you are for your prayers.
