πŸŒžπŸŒŠπŸ•ΆοΈ Faith Minutes Update for Friday, August 8, 2025 πŸ–οΈπŸ©΄πŸ‘™πŸͺ

Happy Friday! πŸŒžπŸŒŠπŸ•ΆοΈπŸ–οΈπŸ©΄πŸ‘™πŸͺ We hope you’ve had a great week! πŸ™Œ

The bulletin for this Sunday, August 10, The Ninth Sunday after Pentecost, is here on our website. There are paper copies outside of the office. The ebulletin works very well on your phone if you would prefer a full bulletin with all the hymns. The livestream will be here on YouTube if you aren’t able to attend.

With the letter from Pastor Wendt returning our Call, the Call committee has set a Call meeting for Saturday, September 6, at 1:00 pm. The committee recommends that we stay with the remaining four Pastors on the short list.

Pastor Gudgel
Pastor Lutjens
Pastor Mason
Pastor Niemeier

If anyone would like to add one or all of the other Pastors from the original list, they can make a motion at the Call meeting to include them. Please take some time to review all nine of the pastor’s information on the entire list that the call committee has developed. With that preparation, if one or more candidates were added during the call meeting, the call meeting could proceed in selecting a pastor to call. The binder is available in the office.

Please contact any of the Call committee members if you need help.

Shon Dempsey; Anna Ericksen; Nita Hadfield; Nikki Johnson; Bob Koenig

The Adult Bible Class summer theme is β€œAre Your Rural/Small Town Churches Planting and Growing?” Please join Pr. Gary after worship; we’ll decide then if we’ll have our Bible Class this week.

Thank you all for sponsoring flowers! πŸ’πŸŒΉπŸ΅οΈπŸŒΌπŸŒΈ We still have an opening for flowers next week, and openings also in October, November, and December. You may sign up across from the mailboxes to celebrate your special day with the congregation.

Have a great weekend! πŸŒžπŸŒŠπŸ•ΆοΈπŸ–οΈπŸ©΄πŸ‘™πŸͺ God is good, All the time; All the time, God is goooooood! πŸ™πŸ™Œ

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
