βββI lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 Our dear sister Florence Brunner passed away last week and is now with The Lord. Please pray for peace and comfort for Robert and all of their children. Note: the service was originally planned for January 17, but the family has now decided to wait until spring when all of their children can attend.
Packing Friendship is in need of new leadership because Peggy is no longer physically able to continue the responsibilities sheβs had for the past five years. It doesnβt really take a considerable amount of time; shopping to keep the pantry stocked, preparing eleven snack bags each week, then putting them into Hollieβs car so she can deliver them to the kids at Lee Elementary School every Thursday afternoon. If you have an interest in this project, please contact Peggy and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached either by phone 509-888-2334 or email nantucket06@gmail.com Thank you!
The Altar Guild has ended the current flower program for worship floral arrangements effective January 1, 2026. If a congregational member would like to provide flowers for Sunday worship services, the member can:
π provide the flowers from a florist of your choice
π provide your own flowers
π order from the current floral provider, Liane Hickman at 509 885-8118
Members need to work directly with their selected florist. If Liane is selected, she will handle ordering, delivery of the flowers to the church, and collect payments from members.
π The price for flowers including delivery will continue to be $40 per arrangement.
π Please leave a message when you call to place your order, as Liane does not answer calls from numbers that are unknown to her. She will put your number in her contacts for future orders.
π Please contact her at least a week in advance of your desired date.
π Her arrangements will stay fresh for up to two weeks if refrigerated.
If a member chooses to provide flowers from a different source, the arrangement must be at the church no later than 9:00 am on Sunday. Members need to get any dedication information for the bulletin to Hollie in the office by noon on the Wednesday before. If you have any questions about this new policy, please contact Cindy Leichner, Anna Ericksen, or Jane Watson.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! β¨π―οΈππ πβ¨ππβ¨ God is coming soon! ππ
