🍎🍏 Faith Minutes Update for Friday, September 25, 2026 🍂🍁
Happy Friday! 🍎🍏 We hope you’re having a great week! 🍂🍁
The bulletin for this Sunday, September 27, The Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost, is here on our website. Paper copies are outside the office. The ebulletin works very well on your phone if you prefer a full bulletin with all the hymns. The worship will be livestreamed here on YouTube.
The Funeral Service for Linda Johnson will be tomorrow at 11:00 am. It will conclude with a Memorial Garden Internment in our congregational memorial garden followed by a light meal in the fellowship hall. The bulletin is here, and the service will be livestreamed here. All members of the congregation are welcome to join as we support and comfort Linda’s family and rejoice in knowing we will once again be reunited in the presence of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Based on the biblical account of the widow’s mite (Luke 21:1-4), the Mite Box is intended for regular contributions of “mites” — offerings above and beyond the support given to congregations and the LCMS. 🪙🪙 The Mite Box is more than just a symbol of God’s provision — it’s a reminder that your offerings and prayers bring the love and hope of Jesus to those in need. You can also donate online at lwml.org/donate-online to make giving easy! We will celebrate Lutheran Women in Mission Sunday this year on October 4.
The Women’s Circle Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be Sunday, October 18, from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm. A complete salad bar, garlic bread, desserts and beverages will complement our yummy spaghetti sauce! 🍝🥗🥖 Profits from freewill donations will fund Women’s Circle congregational and mission projects. Gluten-free pasta will be available. Thrivent Action Dollars will support this project. Invite a friend!
Kids’ Sunday School begins this week! Thanks to God for assembling our team of teachers: Susan will do the openings; Michelle has the two older girls; Susan, Eric, and Joe T. will work with the ten- and eleven-year-olds; and Laura Rosentrater will begin with our kindergarteners in a few weeks. We’ll start at the very beginning and learn about God’s amazing act of Creation. 🌳 Sunday School meets after worship!
Have a great weekend! 🍎🍏🍂🍁 God is good, All the time; All the time, God is goooood! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
