This is it! 🎉 This Sunday is our 70th anniversary celebration with a special addition to our service, where we will once again proclaim the same vows our forefathers took when they chartered the congregation in 1956. We will also celebrate with a special short ceremony after the service and lunch!
The Board of Trustees, the Board of Elders, and Pastor Simmons have prepared two new church policies for your review: the Building Use Policy and the Wedding Policy. Voters will consider both at the October meeting. Please look over the documents and share any feedback with your assigned Elder over the next two weeks. All comments must be submitted by Wednesday, September 23.

Calling all Singers! 🎼🎵🎶 Judith and Susan have graciously offered to lend their skills to starting up a Festival Choir, which will debut with a credal piece on Reformation Sunday (October 25). Now, if you’re doing the math, that’s only a little over a month away, so rehearsals will be on Thursdays at 2:00 pm, starting next Thursday, September 24. No prior choir experience is required to join! Please prayerfully consider sharing your voice to return thanks and praise to God in this way.
The Funeral Service for Linda Johnson will be Saturday, September 26, at 11:00 am. It will conclude with a Memorial Garden Internment in our congregational memorial garden followed by a light meal in the fellowship hall. All members of the congregation are welcome to join as we support and comfort Linda’s family and rejoice in knowing we will once again be reunited in the presence of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Tabitha Circle will be quilting every Thursday at 9:30 am! If you can tie a knot, you are welcome to come quilt with us. 🧵🪡 If you can’t tie a knot, we will be happy to teach you. Bring your heart for missions and good works. Everybody is invited!
