The Board of Trustees, the Board of Elders, and Pastor Simmons have prepared two new church policies for your review: the Building Use Policy and the Wedding Policy. Voters will consider both at the October meeting. Please look over the documents and share any feedback with your assigned Elder over the next two weeks. All comments must be submitted by Wednesday, September 23.
This week we will begin our fall activities for Women’s Circle today at 2:00 pm, and on Friday, September 11, from 9:00-11:00 am for Ladies’ Bible Study. Newcomers are welcome!
Tabitha Circle will have our monthly business meeting this Thursday at 9:30 am, then next week we will meet to quilt. If you can tie a knot or make coffee, you will be welcome to come quilt with us. 🧵🪡 Everybody is invited!
Mark Your Calendars for September 20 because we are going to be celebrating! 🎉 It is the day we will celebrate 70 years since our congregation’s charter in 1956. We will have a special Rite at the beginning of the service and an additional short ceremony after service, followed by a meal and fellowship. The main dish will be provided for the meal, but all are welcome to bring sides or desserts.
