Looking to become a member or refresh your understanding of what we believe, teach, and confess? 🤔 Join us on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 as we dive into the Lutheranism 101 curriculum! 💮❤️✝️ Pastor will be leading a study of Lutheran theology for the next 7 weeks, beginning in 2 days, and all are invited to attend. One set of curriculum will be provided per family, please let pastor know if you intend to come so we can make sure we have enough curriculum for everyone!
What can you absolutely not live without? For me, it’s chapstick. Let’s make sure the folks who are served by the Wenatchee Rescue Mission also have their essentials. Pick up a shopping list on the table in the narthex. We’ll be collecting for Summer of Ingathering through the rest of August. – Stewardship Committee
The week after Labor Day will mark the beginning of fall activities for Women’s Circle on Tuesday, September 8, at 2:00 pm, and on Friday, September 11, from 9:00-11:00 am for Ladies’ Bible Study. Newcomers are welcome!
Tabitha Circle is now collecting school supplies for School Kits while they’re on sale. Could you help us with this project? We need rulers with centimeters and inches📏, pencil sharpeners, blunt-end scissors✂️, unsharpened #2 pencils✏️, and ballpoint pens (black or blue, no gel)🖊️. Leave them in the box below the mailboxes in the Narthex. Thank you for all of your help!
Thank you very much to all the Kitchen Cleanup volunteers! Pastor Simmons, Jan Lee, Sharon Richmond, Susan Rumble, Nancy Schauer, Cathi Werner, Sue Wolkenhauer, and Bev Wischnofske all came, and we appreciate everybody’s help!
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Linda Johnson, a homebound member of Faith Lutheran, passed away last week. Please pray for comfort for her husband Bob. Blessed are they who die in the Lord.
