Some members of the congregation have received messages and emails asking for Pr. Simmons to please contact them. The text will say “Greetings! Are you available to discuss a favor I could use your help with?” These messages ARE NOT from Pr. Simmons, and they come from a fake gmail address. Please do not respond. Other members have been targeted as well. If you receive an email or text message from a fellow member asking for help, please call them directly (not through a number or email in the message) to talk to them and confirm.
This Sunday, we’ll find out what our next “giving assignment” to Wenatchee Rescue Mission will be for the next three weeks (ending on Sunday, August 30). Your participation in this summer-long ingathering event has been spectacular. Thank you! I know we will finish strong. – Stewardship Committee
Tabitha Circle is now collecting supplies for School Kits while they’re on sale. Could you help us with this project? We need rulers with centimeters and inches📏, pencil sharpeners, blunt-end scissors✂️, unsharpened #2 pencils✏️, and ballpoint pens 🖊️ (black or blue, no gel). Leave them in the box below the mailboxes in the Narthex. Thank you for all of your help!
The Annual Kitchen Cleaning will be on Tuesday, August 18, at 9:30 am. Lots of helpers would be appreciated!
