πŸŒžπŸ©΄πŸ•ΆοΈ Faith Minutes Update for Friday, June 5, 2026 πŸ–οΈπŸ©³πŸ©±πŸŠ

Happy Friday! πŸŒžπŸ©΄πŸ•ΆοΈπŸ–οΈπŸ©³πŸ©±πŸŠ We hope you’ve had a great week! πŸ™πŸ™Œ

The Parsonage Remodel has needed more items fixed, replaced or cleaned. πŸ‘ It might cost more than budgeted. If anyone would like to help offset these costs, you can donate to parsonage repair. There have been many hours of donated labor towards this project.

The bulletin for this Sunday, June 7, The Second Sunday after Pentecost, is here on our website. Paper copies are outside the office. The ebulletin works very well on your phone if you prefer a full bulletin with all the hymns. The worship will be livestreamed here on YouTube.

UPCOMING WORSHIP SERVICES

June 7, 2026, The Second Sunday after Pentecost, Divine Service with Communion with Pr. Mark Griesse of Selah, WA
June 13, 2026, The Installation of Pr. Tyler Simmons, with Pr. Shawn Neider of Grand Coulee, WA
June 14, 2026, The Third Sunday after Pentecost, Divine Service with Communion with Pr. Tyler Simmons

Save The Date! Our Installation Service for our new pastor has been set! He will be installed on Saturday June 13, 2026. The service will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. Join us as we welcome the Simmons Family to our Family of Faith.

The Welcome Reception for the Simmons family will follow the Installation Service on Saturday, June 13. Help is needed with setup, cleanup, and bringing apple crisp! See the Kiosk for signups.

Pastor Simmons and Family are on the road! Today they will be traveling from Casper, WY to Island Park, ID. Highlights along the way include stops at Mount Rushmore and the Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.  They are on schedule to arrive next Tuesday, June 9. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help provision the Parsonage for their arrival. As of Thursday, all needs have been met. The Parsonage will be open from 9:00 am to noon tomorrow (Saturday) to receive all volunteered items and is available to anyone who would like to see firsthand all the work that has been going on over there. Thanks again and see you there.

Sunday School is done for the summer. Last week, we were so proud of the kids in our discussion of the Trinityβ€”they showed a good grasp of a difficult concept. This week, we encourage kids and parents, young and not-as-young, to attend Pastor Griesse’s talk during Bible class time on ordination and installation and the promises that will be made by Pastor Simmons to us, and ourselves to him.

Please wear your nametags to help our new pastor get to know us all! Bring it in if you have it at home, and let the office know if you need a new one and we’ll be happy to get you one.

The summer signup for hosting Coffee Fellowship is posted on the Kiosk. Volunteers appreciated!

Thrivent Representative Rachel Albrecht will be in church this Sunday to introduce herself and visit with members during coffee hour. You can also call her at 509 381-5672.

The Calendar and Congregation Information for June are on our website.

Have a great weekend! πŸŒžπŸ©΄πŸ•ΆοΈπŸ–οΈπŸ©³πŸ©±πŸŠ God is good, All the time; All the time, God is goooood! πŸ™πŸ™Œ

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
