HELP WANTED: We are in need of a Recording Secretary. The duties of the position include (1) Keep an accurate and permanent record of all Voters Assembly meetings; (2) Publish all Voters Assembly meeting minutes; (3) Maintain an accurate list of all voting members, all board members, all committee members and all active committees; and (4) Prepare and sign official correspondence as necessary. This is an elected position with the current term ending in July of 2027. If you, or someone you know, is interested in serving in this capacity, please contact Eric Loebsack or Garritt Visser.
On February 18, Ash Wednesday, from 6:00 pm to 6:20 pm in the Narthex, Women’s Circle will serve Hot Cross Buns, freshly made by Greg Leichner! The worship service of hymns and a meditation will follow at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Plan to join in the beginning of the Lenten Season with this traditional observance.
This week in Sunday School, we will begin a series on Paul’s missionary journeys. Sunday School meets after worship.
Women’s Circle Annual Potato Bar Dinner will be Sunday, February 22, from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm! 🥔🥗🧁 Come and fix a potato with a variety of toppings – ham, cheese, chili, broccoli, onions, etc. There will be a large salad bar, as well as an array of desserts and beverages. Your free-will offering supports Women’s Circle missions and congregational projects. Come and enjoy some yummy food and fun Faith fellowship. Invite your friends! Thrivent Action Dollars supports this project!
MOST (Mission Opportunities Short Term) Ministries does good all over the world. Their Eyeglass Ministry is outstanding. 👓 They fit people’s glasses AND give them the Gospel message! Visit the table in the Narthex and see if you can bless someone somewhere with your old glasses.
