Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 We will celebrate our beloved friend Pastor Gary Krumdieck on Saturday, January 24 with a funeral service at 11:00 am and a light lunch after. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube for those who are unable to attend.
Yes! We had Sunday School yesterday! Thank you, Mrs. Griesse, for being our guest teacher once again. She asked, What does Psalm 46 say to us today? What words of transformation will we find there to create trust in our hearts?
The Friday Ladies’ Bible Study has committed to requesting a weekly Congregational Prayer for God’s blessing and guidance in Faith’s call process. 🙏 Please join us in affirming scripture’s timeless counsel: • “Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17; • “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12; • “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2
Packing Friendship is in need of new leadership because Peggy is no longer physically able to continue the responsibilities she’s had for the past five years. It doesn’t really take a considerable amount of time; shopping to keep the pantry stocked, preparing eleven snack bags each week, then putting them into Hollie’s car so she can deliver them to the kids at Lee Elementary School every Thursday afternoon. If you have an interest in this project, please contact Peggy and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached either by phone 509 888-2334 or email nantucket06@gmail.com Thank you!
Thank you all for sponsoring our flowers in 2025! 💐 The flower sign up for 2025 is on the bulletin board across from the mailboxes. We especially need flowers for this Sunday! If you choose to use Liane Hickman (our current provider) to make the flower arrangement for your signup date, please put her $40 payment in the new mailbox across from the signup chart. It’s titled Liane Hickman, Florist. Thank you.
Happy Birthdays 🎂 this week to Kathy Visser today, Eva Williams tomorrow, and Robert Brunner this Sunday!
The lessons for this Sunday, January 18, The Second Sunday after the Epiphany, will be from Isaiah 49:1-7; 1 Corinthians 1:1-9; and John 1:29-42a. The lessons link to BibleGateway.com.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
