This week’s Sunday School lesson was about Lazarus’ two sisters, Mary and Martha, and how differently they responded to Jesus. Sunday School meets after worship.
The next Altar Guild meeting will be Monday, May 19, at 1:30 pm. All members please attend this important meeting.
Faith’s widows support group, Naomi, will meet Tuesday, May 20 at 1:00 in the fellowship hall. There are many Old Testament references to the wilderness. We’ll find that wilderness wandering can be a time of growth and transformation, and building a deeper relationship with God.
I know that my Redeemer lives Job 19:25 Maxine Melcher passed away at 94. Please pray for her family, especially her sons Ron, Cam, and Les. Her service will be June 12 at 11:00 am with a light lunch afterward. Blessed are they who die in the Lord.
