The family of Mim Schwich (Jody Marquardt’s mother) has scheduled a memorial service for her at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 7. The life celebration will begin at 10:30 with a Lutheran hymn-sing. The worship service will begin at 11:00. Following the service, a luncheon will be served by the women of Faith. Deacon Ruth Anderson will be the organist, the adult choir Voices of Grace from Grace Lutheran will participate in the service, and the choir director will be Judith Tensmeyer, a former member of Faith Lutheran. The family respectfully requests that anyone who would like to sing with the choir attend a choir rehearsal at Faith Lutheran on Wednesday, June 4, at 7:30 pm. All are welcome. The choir pieces, which will be an integral part of the worship service, are familiar and easily mastered in one evening under the direction of Judith and Deacon Ruth.
The signup has changed for the Maxine Melcher Memorial! If you’ve already signed up for Maxine’s memorial, please check the signup, you may need to sign up again. Maxine’s memorial service will be June 12 at 11:00 am with lunch afterward. Women’s Circle appreciates all that the congregation is doing to provide successful memorials for our beloved members.
